Feel me again
Bubec Studio, Prague, CZ
Feel me again is a series of fourteen images that are painted and embroidered on skin colored nylon. The images are mounted on wood. The series reflects scars as the bearers of stories and happenings. The series is an autobiographical work of a painful accident, that I cannot remember cognitively. My question is, to which degree memories are remembered by the body itself. A scar is a form of memory, but where does the pain of skin destruction go, and how is it remembered? Feel me again is a trial to regain cognitive memory through a spontaneous and intuitive work with body memory.
