Fragments is a multimedia installation, that contains metal, nylon, foam and thread. The installation is a mobile construction, that can be moved by the audience and continues to move and to rebalance itself.
This work deals with the question of how we actually experience our bodies from our own point of view. Instead of a stable entity, I propose that our experience of bodies is fragmented, and consisting of several body parts, rather then a body unity. The random and unpredictable movements that the mobile creates, is expression for how much control the human has over the body.
