SKIN SPACES is a 30-minute performance for one person at a time with a reflecting conversation about the experience. The performance takes place on the arm of the spectator.
The most important thing in this performance is the sense of touch. SKIN SPACES is about tactile sensation and the skin's ability to receive impressions. Using a variety of materials, textures, print, temperature and tempo I create a unique experience. Traditionally, hearing and vision are the senses that get addressed during performances. I am interested in what happens when the focus is placed on the sense of touch.
The project is supported by the Arts Council Norway and the Scenekunst Sør.
